Kovai Mahesan
Kovai Mahesan was the editor of the Suthanthiran newspaper, the official organ of ITAK, from 1968 until the proscription of the paper and his arrest under the Prevention of Terrorism Act. In 1983 he survived the Welikada prison massacre. He died in Tamil Nadu in 1992.
